A number of Student Quality Ambassadors have collaborated with Health Education England to work towards increasing placement capacity for healthcare students as well as ensuring students receive a positive learning experience. This is part of a wider piece of regional work called ‘Enabling Effective Learning Environments’.

Students in Greater Manchester have been part of a student-led consultation group which aims to provide a ‘student voice’ as part of the implementation of the Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Learning Environment Strategy.

Cheshire and Merseyside have been looking at learning experiences in care homes and social care and SQAs were invited to contribute to this forum.

Overall, there will be lots of opportunities for our SQAs to undertake new, non-traditional placements as part of pilot placements!
